The Best Friends Baby Ponies were in many ways a return to how My Little Pony had used to be. Each baby pony came with a special pony pal which was reflected also in their symbols. All the babies were earthlings and had solid colour bodies and hair. In the pamphlet for this year Baby Katie and Baby Billie are both misrepresented, Billie being the wrong colour and Katie being in the wrong pose.
There is also an issue of Baby Susie in Baby Blossom's pose and baby Billie in Ember's pose (see below) - their place of origin is unknown.
