Although the
My Little Pony Waterfall Playset was sold in the United Kingdom with Sprinkles
in it's original issue, the 1985 re-issue saw a new, exclusive pony introduced
into our stores. Most likely because the waterfall and Sprinkles had already
been so widely successful, her successor Cascade is much harder to find
second hand.
The United
Kingdom issue of the waterfall differed slightly from that sold in the
United States. Although basically to the same design, the United Kingdom
issue featured a green base, whilst the American one had a white base.
THe green base waterfall was sold in the UK with both Sprinkles and later
Cascade.
Pictured above are the two editions of the waterfall - on the left,
the UK edition (featuring Cascade) and on the right the US edition (featuring
Sprinkles). Sprinkles was also sold with the green-based version, and the
other accessories remain the same.

and the green-based Waterfall.
