The Loving Family Ponies were issued in the USA and the UK simultaneously. However, there were immediate differences. Whilst the USA sets consisted of three ponies, in the UK we had four, a Mummy, a Daddy, a Baby Sister and a Baby Brother. Of the nine released internationally there are versions made in China and Hong Kong but of the European babies there are only versions Made In China. There is little really to distinguish them from their sibling except the male or female pose. Baby Brother Bright Bouquet came with a purple bow tie and Baby Brother Apple Delight came with a yellow version. At the same time, as pictured on their backcards came various accessories such as highchairs and the like for the babies to play with. This was also the time when Pony Mummy Charms (*Mummy* being the English spelling) were put into packaging.
