Details
Often pictured with wildly curly hair and containing only one pony that wasn't an earthling this set is something of an enigma. Issued late on into 1991, the Flower Ponies consisted of four of the most simple UK ponies to ever be sold, each having a formula solid body/solid hair colour, and a bouquet of flowers as a symbol. It is true to say that despite pictures none of the set had paticularly curly hair. All of the ponies featured in comics, perhaps the oddly named Snowdrop more than the others, where her most well known story involved a set of baby bears being turned into soap. The same images were later used for another story. In Germany they are called Vergissmeinicht-Ponys (Forget-Me-Not Ponies) and in France they are called Bouquet de Fleurs (Flower Bouquet <ponies>).
