 The Mountain Boy Ponies were also a new venture for 1987, although they came out in stores very late in this year. A year before the Adventure Boy/Big Brother ponies were issued in the United Kingdom this set were introduced onto the British market. Being the very first of their kind in the UK, each had special new combs and brushes, and their names were all on the theme of weather and the elements. All the Mountain Boy Ponies had freckles on each cheek . However, they were only available for twelve months or so, and so are not at all common second hand.
