The reason that I have put these two ponies on the same page is because they both bear the same variant feautures - namely their hair colours. In Europe and the UK, there was only version of each sold, and it's easy to tell which these were, since they had DARK PURPLE in her mane and tail.
Pretty Beat
The difference between these two is more than a little obvious =) The
pony on the right is the version of Pretty Beat sold in Europe, with the
dark coloured body and the purple hair. However this doesn't necessarily
make her our exclusive, since there are many reports of her having been
sold also in the United States - I am unsure at this moment about that.
The other version, on the left, was a North American edition of Pretty
Beat and this one was *not* sold in Europe or the UK. She has a much lighter
pink body, and blue hair. Her streak in her mane also seems a lighter orange
colour.
Baby Starbow
The above pony is the Baby Starbow my little sister had brand new for
her birthday here in the UK some years ago. As you can see, the third colour
in her mane is the same dark purple as the Pretty Beat (above) and I believe
that she was the only version of Baby Starbow sold in Europe - she almost
certainly was the only one sold in the UK.
I do not as yet have a picture of Baby Starbow with the blue streak
in her mane, which was sold in the United States and Canada as far as I
can tell. It is possible that the purple haired version of Baby Starbow
was sold in the US, but the blue-streak version was not sold in the UK.
