The Schoolhouse
The MLP Schoolhouse
(image from insert for this year)
Details
.The Schoolhouse was issued in late
1989, early 1990 and was one of the first UK buildings to have extensive
numbers of accessories. It was the first exclusively UK building and it
included two desks, blue and yellow books, rulers and pencils, a magic
write board, school bell and cuckoo clock, skipping rope, globe, xylophone,
slide, glasses and other accessories for the classroom. This was the first
of the exclusively UK buildings and it was officially issued with no pony,
despite being pictured in later brochures with Sportstime. There are rumours
that one of the characters illustrated in the comics, Lady Lessons was
actually made to go with the building but no pony has ever been sighted
to confirm this rumour. The schoolhouse was issued several of the later
years, but is not as common second hand as the Kitchen playset.
Lady Lessons. Nobody has yet been able to prove the existance of this
pony, despite the frequent appearances she made in the pony comics of this
time.
