To fit in with the My Little Pony's 'Back To School' type theme, these Schooltime Ponies were the older student ponies. Again, all had freckles, were issued with ABC combs, and again, the only male of the group, Sportstime was shown in a recognised female pose. All of this set came with yellow and orange school bags as well as combs, and featured extensively in comics. Sportstime in particular became known for always saying 'Any sport's a good sport', but all of them developed their own individual characters as time went on. Paintingtime is often known incorrectly as Art Time (as a direct translation from the German Artzeit) but the UK card gives her as *PAINTINGTIME*.
