A rather strange little pony, Sweet Clover is without a doubt one of the harder ponies to find on the UK second hand market. Strangely she has been given all sorts of names on the pony trading network, including Pretty Hoof, Picnic-Pony, Clover Leaf and many others. However, as you can see from the comic extract (below) her correct UK name is indeed Sweet Clover.
Unlike the later Good Weather, Sweet Clover did not really make an appearance in the comics and therefore was probably less in demand. I certainly do not personally recall seeing her in the shops, although I know she was sold here. Sweet Clover came with many accessories to help her have her picnic, including cutlery, plates, hair slides, and even a teddy bear toy (shown in picture) for her to play with (note the advert image has actually been reversed and Sweet Clover's true pose is that of Bow Tie.) Unlike many ponies of this era, she does not have freckles, and is probably one of the most beautiful and hardest to find UK ponies of this time.
