Although there were Sweet Kisses sold in the USA as Sweetheart Sister style ponies, the versions that found their way onto European shelves were made in the traditional body moulds. Like in America, there were three, and they had special lips which appeared in cold water and disappeared in warm water. Symbols and colours were similar also, with the exception of Candy Kisses, who was orange in contrast to the US white Lovin' Kisses.
Each Sweet Kisses pony had tinsel in her mane and was issued with a long handled comb, ribbon and a fake tube of lipstick which, when dipped in cold water could make the lips reappear.
